Ebert Sheep Farm started in 1957 as a 4-H flock for my older brothers. We bred our first champion lamb in 1962. Through the years we have bred Grand Champion or Reserve Grand Champion Market Lambs at the American Royal, Kansas State Fair, Kansas Junior Livestock Show, Missouri State Fair, Alabama State Fair, Arizona National Western, Louisiana State Fair and Georgia State Fair. We have bred champions at NAILE and the All-American Junior Show as well. We have sold sheep into over 30 states and 3 foreign countries.

Our flock currently consists of 130 ewes that are made up of Hampshires, Dorsets, Shropshires and Suffolks. All of the ewes are registered. We stress mothering ability and ease of lambing in our ewe flock. The ram lambs that we keep back all gained over .9/lb. per day for their first 60 days. We specialize in selling rams to commercial flocks as well as to other breeders.


We annually hold a production and club lamb sale. We will sell club lambs, ewe and ram lambs and yearling ewes and yearling rams. We are always willing to show prospective buyers our sheep, do not hesitate to give us a call.
